The Process

Braidwood Hospitality Management has built an enviable reputation providing operational, sales, and hospitality management solutions, to small & medium sized hotels. Our reputation is built on trust, service and accountability and our clients appreciate our ongoing contribution to their success. Braidwood provides a proven four-step process.

Step 1 - Getting to Know You

Our goal, during this step, is to make the initial property visit gaining a complete understanding of the client’s physical facilities. At the same time, we work with each new client to complete our Braidwood™ customized and comprehensive evaluation document. This allows Braidwood to begin to understand both the internal and external forces at work within the client’s current business and economic environment. The first step covers (but not limited to) the hotel's facilities, services, human resources, financial data, hospitality sales & marketing strategies, website & collateral material and the hotel's current competitive set.

Step 2 - The Assessment

From the data collected in step 1, Braidwood produces a comprehensive action plan, presented to the Owner/Operator, outlining the key action steps required to move forward to the Growth Phase (Step 3). This includes a detailed analysis of the client’s current situation as well as recommendations for improving performance and profitability. Areas of assessment include People, Product, Price and Performance.

Step 3 – Growth

In this step and in consultation with the Owner/Operator we begin the process of implementing the operational plan developed in step 2. Also, this is typically where our sales division will begin the process of contacting the client’s external customers and key decision makers within the identified market segments.

Step 4 - Maintenance

This is an ongoing process, in partnership with the Owner/Operator, where Braidwood ensures all aspects of the Braidwood Operational Plan are executed and milestones are achieved throughout the process.
